How to install ownClound in your Ubuntu

Assalamualaikum all :D

today i will give new stuf about “ownCloud” :D

ownCloud is a free and open-source web application for data synchronization, file sharing, and remote storage of documents (“cloud storage“). /wikipedia said =))

Now here i am use Ubuntu 12.10 and i will install a ownCloud in my computer so this is localhost – sure :D

oke we need to install LAMP-server here :

sudo apt-get install lamp-server^

and you need other library too for ownCloud

sudo apt-get install php5-gd php-xml-parser php5-intl smbclient curl libcurl3 php5-curl

oke lets go to Configure :D

- we need mod_rewrite and mod_headers enable

a2enmod rewrite && a2enmod headers

- Now is Configure our vhost

nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/default

change this

AllowOverride None

to

AllowOverride All

- Next restart apache

service apache2 restart

- Now Download and extract ownCloud package

cd /var/www/
wget http://download.owncloud.org/community/owncloud-latest.tar.bz2
tar -xjf owncloud-latest.tar.bz2

- Change Owner for owncloud extracted :D

chown -R www-data:www-data owncloud/

- Now Create new Database for ownCloud

mysql -u root -p #enter your mysql password
CREATE DATABASE owncloud;
GRANT ALL ON owncloud.* TO 'owncloud'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'yourmysqlpassword';

the last is try to restart your apache

service apache2 restart

and open in your browser :

http://localhost/owncloud/

this is my ownCloud in my localhost :D

SCP Command

Hello bro :D

i will paste here about SCP / Secure Copy :D

this is usefull for administrator to transfer file into / out to server or localhost :D

Copy the file “foobar.txt” from a remote host to the local host

$ scp your_username@remotehost.edu:foobar.txt /some/local/directory

Copy the file “foobar.txt” from the local host to a remote host

$ scp foobar.txt your_username@remotehost.edu:/some/remote/directory

Copy the directory “foo” from the local host to a remote host’s directory “bar”

$ scp -r foo your_username@remotehost.edu:/some/remote/directory/bar

Copy the file “foobar.txt” from remote host “rh1.edu” to remote host “rh2.edu”

$ scp your_username@rh1.edu:/some/remote/directory/foobar.txt \
your_username@rh2.edu:/some/remote/directory/

Copying the files “foo.txt” and “bar.txt” from the local host to your home directory on the remote host

$ scp foo.txt bar.txt your_username@remotehost.edu:~

Copy the file “foobar.txt” from the local host to a remote host using port 2264

$ scp -P 2264 foobar.txt your_username@remotehost.edu:/some/remote/directory

Copy multiple files from the remote host to your current directory on the local host

$ scp your_username@remotehost.edu:/some/remote/directory/\{a,b,c\} .
$ scp your_username@remotehost.edu:~/\{foo.txt,bar.txt\} .

How to Install Libre Office in Fedora/CentOS

Hi all -

Now just write and share about my Fedora :)
I am use Fedora 19 with lxde.

Now just will share “How to Install Libre Office in Fedora/CentOS”
Lets begin :

Step 1
Download Package

cd ~ 

32 Bit :

wget http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.1.1/rpm/x86/LibreOffice_4.1.1_Linux_x86_rpm.tar.gz

64 Bit :

wget http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.1.1/rpm/x86_64/LibreOffice_4.1.1_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz

Step 2
Remove old package if you Have.

yum remove openoffice.org* libreoffice.org*

Step 3
Extraxt file downloaded

tar -xvf LibreOffice_4.1.1_Linux_x86_rpm.tar.gz
cd LibreOffice_4.1.1.2_Linux_x86_rpm/RPMS/

Step 4
Install all *.rpm

yum localinstall *.rpm

and Now you can go to :
Application => Office and yu can see Libre Offcie Installed :)

How to Build a WebServer on CentOS 6.4

You must Install Centos on your Server and I am here Using Centos 6.4.

Some we Need For Build a WebServer on CentOS 6.4 :

Apache
PHP5
MYSQL
PhpMyAdmin

Lets Install all it.

APACHE

yum install httpd

and now configure apache in the startup

chkconfig --levels 235 httpd on

and start it

service httpd start

Test it in your Browser http://192.168.1.20/

PHP5

yum install php

and restart your apache

service httpd restart

and test the php by create the file “info.php”

cd /var/www/html/

nano info.php

put this code :

<? phpinfo (); ?>

and open your browser http://192.168.1.20/info.php

and you get all information about your system.

MYSQL

yum install mysql mysql-server

and configure in startup

chkconfig --levels 235 mysqld on

and now start it

service mysqld start

next Configure the root password for mysql :

mysql_secure_installation

pres ENTER – ENTER – ENTER and

if you see the word ” Set root password ? Y/N ” you must enter your password there and renter it. And just press ENTER to finish it.

Now is Getting MYSQL connect and support for PHP5.

yum install php-mysql php-gd php-imap php-ldap php-mbstring php-odbc php-pear php-xml php-xmlrpc

and restart your Apache

service httpd restart

now check it from yor browser http://192.168.1.20/info.php

and you get mysql there and other module.

PhpMyAdmin

Default Centos Repository is does not provide for phpmyadmin package.And we must install from other repositories.

for 32bit.

yum -y install http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.i686.rpm

for 64bit.

yum -y install http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm

now time to install :

yum -y install phpmyadmin

configure phpmyadmin to be easy to access.

nano /etc/httpd/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf

and comment the code like this :

#
# Web application to manage MySQL
#

#<Directory "/usr/share/phpmyadmin">
# Order Deny,Allow
# Deny from all
# Allow from 127.0.0.1
#</Directory>

Alias /phpmyadmin /usr/share/phpmyadmin
Alias /phpMyAdmin /usr/share/phpmyadmin
Alias /mysqladmin /usr/share/phpmyadmin

next is changet the authentication from “cookie” to “http” :

nano /usr/share/phpmyadmin/confic.inc.php

ctrl + w and type “cookie” ENTER. And Replace with “http

[...]
/* Authentication type */
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'http';
[...]

now restart apache

service httpd restart

and test for phpmyadmin http://192.168.1.20/phpmyadmin/

and congratulations you have successfully built webserver on CentOS 6.4 – Thankz @howtoforge

How to prevent from symlink

hello all :D
Now just write the short article about security.

How to prevent from symlink ?
so lets do it

Firs step ” change permission for ln command ”

sudo su
cd /bin
chmod 400 ln

second step ” edit php.ini configuration ”
to search php.ini file

locate php.ini

edit php.ini

nano /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini

search ” disable_functions ” and put in the list

disable_functions = symlink,system,shell_exec,eval,exec,proc_get_status,proc_nice,proc_terminate,define_syslog_variables,syslog,openlog,closelog,escapeshellcmd,passthru,ocinumcols,ini_alter,leak,listen,chgrp,apache_note,apache_setenv,debugger_on,debugger_off,ftp_exec,dl,dll,ftp,myshellexec,proc_open,socket_bind,proc_close,escapeshellarg,popen,fpassthru,php_uname, pcntl_exec,

and restart the service .

/etc/init.d/apache2 restart
/etc/init.d/php5 restart

so it is short and i hope this make your server is secure :D

How to Install sublime text 2 + license code in Ubuntu

Sublime text 2 is powerfull code editor .
and Now in this case i will explain for installation and So register it with the key.
So I hope this is helfull for you.

Download
wget http://c758482.r82.cf2.rackcdn.com/Sublime%20Text%202.0.1.tar.bz2
tar -jxvf Sublime\ Text\ 2\ 2.0.1.tar.bz2<i>


Then move the dir

mv Sublime\ Text\ 2 sublime
 mv sublime /opt
 cd /opt
 chown -R root:root sublime
 chmod -R +r sublime

then create One bash file :

nano /usr/bin/sublime_text

Paste this code .

#!/bin/sh
 #export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME="/usr/lib/mozilla/"
 export SUBLIME_HOME="/opt/sublime"
 $SUBLIME_HOME/sublime_text "$*"

Save exit.

Now create Desktop launcer.

nano /usr/share/applications/sublime.desktop

paste this code :

[Desktop Entry]
 Encoding=UTF-8
 Name=Sublime Text
 Comment=Sublime Text 2
 Exec=sublime_text
 Icon=/opt/sublime/Icon/256x256/sublime_text.png
 Terminal=false
 Type=Application
 Categories=GNOME;GTK;Utility;TextEditor;
 StartupNotify=true

So finally you can open the apps in "Applications => Accesoris => Sublime text"

Now Register the Applications.

sudo apt-get install ghex
 cd /opt/sublime/
 sudo ghex sublime_text

And now you see the window.
edit => Repleace
search 33 42 and repleace with 32 42
Save exit.

and now go to " Help => Use licensi "

How to install ionCube loader on Ubuntu

Salam all ..

In this section share about ioncube loader.

if you have php script and it is encrypted with ioncube encrypter, So you must Install ioncube in your Box.

I am use Ubuntu in this section.

lets Do it*

Open your terminal and type :
 

cd /usr/local
wget http://downloads2.ioncube.com/loader_download/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86.tar.gz
tar -xzf ioncube_loaders_lin_x86.tar.gz

Next check if PHP loaded the extensions :

echo "zend_extension=/usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so" | sudo tee /etc/php5/conf.d/ioncube.ini

Restart your apache :

service apache2 restart

Note : 
for 32-bit :

http://downloads2.ioncube.com/loader_download/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86.tar.gz

for 64-bit :

http://downloads2.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz
